[b:2fulhmtr]Whoami : Javier
Location : Dublin, Fairview
Age : 33
Job : Journalist for Spanish News Agency
Started Brewing : A couple of weeks ago
Brewing Level : Complete beginner, just waiting for my first batch of bitter (and again, thanks for your time and help -I have nightmares thinking I was gonna follow the kit instructions...)
Favourite Beers: Ales, Stouts and some Lagers (but not mad about them)
Why brew? : To get my own ale...To learn a fascinating craft, to educate my taste buds (I´ve always envied people such as wine tasters capable of deconstructing a good wine, I think brewing beer can be a bit like that eventually)
Other Interests : Music, sports, cinema, diving, cooking, writting...[/b:2fulhmtr]

Hmm, I'm starting to see a relation between IT and drinking.

Whoami: Chris
Location: Galway city
Age: 32
Job: Sr. Software Eng
Started Brewing: 2005
Brewing level: Intermediate I guess. I formulate my own recipes using LME and specialty grains. Base malts not logisitcally practical in Galway.
Favorite Beers: Rochefort 10, Chimay Blue, Leffe Blonde, Anchor Steam, Gordon Bierch Marzen, any Dunkel, Guinness Extra Stout
Why brew? Lack of variety available and cost drove me to it, but now I really enjoy formulating my own recipes.
Other intrests: Who needs other intrests?
