Hi All

I have posted once or twice on Beoir before but am basically new here - myself and family are just about to open a new brewery down in Kilcoole.. Just about to start running our first brews on the system now - I'm sure you've all seen shed loads of breweries now but anyone is welcome to come down and have a look around - we are very close to Oh Brother.

I've read through this whole discussion - but I'm not sure I have fully understood: do you want to run one of your recipes through a brewery on a sort of one-off basis that you can then take away or do you want to run it as a commercial beer that you would look to sell in pubs etc potentially on a long-term basis in collaborative/collective type approach with the brewery?

It's a collaboration brew. Basically we agree a recipe and those who are available head to said brewery on the day and help brew the beer. We have a good day out and the brewery releases the beer like any other except it's branded as a Beoir# collaboration. We then promote the crap out of it and people go in search of the beer.

Both previous collaborations were brilliant beers and everyone loved them.

Got it thanks Reuben

Feel free to add us to the list of potential brewery options - we've time and lot's of spare capacity at the moment.

On this- I'll have a date for us on Tuesday. It's looking like mid June. On top of us, had a couple of conversations with brewers last night and people are itching to collab with us. I was thinking Beoir#4 is going to be a Christmas beer- so think dark and boozy...

Yeah St Mel's wanted to do it. We talked about it at Killarney last year. We were talking about something using their local Longford bilberries but that's dependent on bilberry picking season I suppose.

Sounds great. I was talking to Eoin and Liam in Killarney and they reckon it's too late for this year to arrange it but certainly next year they are up for it.
