US Brewers at the RDS Festival

The place to discuss upcoming events or even to plan your own. This forum can be used in conjunction with the Calendar so you know what's on where and when.

Just got word from the Brewers Association that they'll have a stand at the RDS this year (7-9 September). The brewers so far (subject to change) are:

Epic haven't put their best feet forward with that selection, but BBB is standout. Their special editions of BBB are even better.

Probably a really dumb question...but could you buy some of these and bring home to drink at a later date?

I'd prefer to drink something like BBB in the comfort of my own home. I love a good RIS but not sure that a beer festival is the best place to enjoy it (unless someone is willing to bring me an armchair...)

If I recall, the RDS doesn't permit take-away sales, presumably because they don't want anyone with glass in their hands at any point. If I also recall correctly, beer does get sold in bottles irrespective of the rules, so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Don't expect takeaway beer to be advertised, but ask nicely and see what happens, I guess.

Plan B is to stumble over just before closing and go with the "TBN said youse would sell me cans..." :D
