A little bit about the EBCU survey of European election candidates. More news on this as we approach 23rd May.

We're coming to the end of the time for candidates to take the survey and so far two Irish candidates have responded. That's actually better than I expected :D

Do we get to see the results of this at any point? would be interesting to see what their political views they have on the table.

Yes, that's the whole point of the exercise. The last I heard was that the results site will be up on Friday.

Here it is. Four replies from Irish candidates in the end. Have a play.

Safe to say Emer Costello is on the fence.

Safe to say she either didn't complete the survey, was included in error as having responded, or some other **** up. How could she *not* have an opinion on any of the questions asked?

Poor response overall :(

Or she had drank a skinful of barley wine and couldn't move the mouse. I'd say Andrew's theory might be more accurate

Cllr. Mark Deary took same approach by the looks of it. 97% accurate by agreeing fully with all answers. Surprised Ming didn't have a view on this despite his strong support for other Cannabaceae.
Fairly poor turn out on the results.

He complained he didn't get the link, after which I made sure to mail it to him personally last Friday. Still no answers.
