Apricot Puree

I was going to jump on the american bandwagon and attempt an apricot IPA. Any idea where you could find apricot puree or juice? NOT jam, as apparently the pectin hazes up the beer.

Pallas food might, I think they sell frozen fruit that should be cheaper than a supermarket

You could get the dries apricots in most supermarkets. You could rehydrate them , blend and add to the boil or second.

I used them in a wheat beer a few years back and was happy with the results.

You can add pectinase to get rid of pectin as well, I think.

We on the NHC have been looking for Sour Cherrys for a kriek so thanks to this thread we may have found a source.
