I'm finding the best prices and the best service is from themaltmiller.co.uk. His stuff is always fresh and he always puts the harvest date on the site and on the bag (something the HBC don't do).

Bookmarked. What are the shipping costs like? The Republic doesn't get listed on the Shipping Costs page.

Just email him. His shipping prices are the same as for the other Zone 1 countries as far as I remember. He's a nice guy too. I actually came across him first when he was selling on ebay before he had his own online shop. He's quite popular now with the UK homebrewers too.

He sends small things at Royal Mail prices. Really nice guy to deal with.

Yes, I have used them a good few times, highly recommend them. Rob is clear with all the information.

Oh BTW, the last time I was talking to him he said he can now ship up to 30Kg to Ireland for only £14.

No, if you want 30Kg of hops, there are *far* cheaper ways to get them.

I'm just making an "experimental" pyment from 0,8kg of nice raw honey and a can of Chardonnay white grape extract with 2001 expiry date :-P The extract poured black-reddish-brown but tasted great (not entirely like white grapes though - kinda caramelised) so I decided to give it a go :-)
