Recipe - AG - American Stout

Planning a brew day and need feedback, or want to share a recipe you've brewed? Post them up here (but read the sticky first :))

Here's the recipe for the stout I brought along to the b&c last night.
It's the third version of the brew and am very happy with it. Don't think I'd change anything about it now. Carbonation maybe ;)
American Stout

OG 1.047
IBU 54
4.8% ABV

Pale malt 3.75 kg
Crystal 30 0.50kg
Crystal 80 0.50kg
Flaked oats 0.50kg
Roasted barley 0.50kg
Vienna malt 0.50kg
Black malt 0.30kg
Brown malt 0.30kg

Columbus (14%AA) 20g @ 60
Centennial (10%AA) 20g @ 30
Centennial (10%AA) 30g @ 10

Yeast : Nottingham

Excellent. Brewing an American Stout next week hopefully, this will do rightly as inspiration. :)

Not a problem. I think this is going to be my house stout. Next time I brew it I might let some sit on coco nibs in a Demi for a while and see how it turns out.

OG: 1.055
IBU: 58
ABV: 5.2%

Maris Otter 3kg
Wheat Malt 1kg
Oats 0.5kg
Carafa III 0.5kg
Vienna 0.5kg
Amber Malt 0.5kg
Black Malt (added to sparge) 0.3kg
Chocolate Malt 0.2kg

Pilgrim (11%AA) 30g @ 60
Centennial (10%AA) 20g @ 30
Centennial (10%AA) 20g @ 10
Amarillo (8.5%) 20g @ 2

Yeast: Gervin (notty)

Reckon it needs dry hopping Nigel?

Looks nice. I didn't dry hop mine. I mashed pretty low (62 I think) helped let the hops do their things. Give it a sample in a week or so and play it by ear.
