Where to buy Beoir#1 Double IPA?

We all want to know where we can get quality craft beers in Ireland and abroad, whether in bars, restaurants or off-licenses. Share your experiences here.

Postby TheBeerNut » Wed Apr 09, 2014 12:31 pm

A limited stock of Beoir#1 has been kegged and will be distributed by Vanguard to the on-trade from this weekend. I'm starting this thread as a one-stop-shop for news on where it's available to buy.

If you spot it or hear about it, post here and I'll update the list on this post. Likewise if it was somewhere but is gone, post that too. And please distinguish from places where it's "coming soon", ie ordered/delivered but not yet pouring, and those where it's available.

Hopefully, this won't take long :D

You can get it at:
57 The Headline (10/4/2014)
Bierhaus Cork (11/4/2014)
Against the Grain (17/4/2014)
Alfie Byrne's (17/4/2014)
Simon's Place (20/4/2014)
Phil Healy's (24/4/2014)
The Bartender (02/5/2014)
The Purty Kitchen (27/5/2014)
The Salt House (27/6/2014)
The Black Sheep (5/7/2014)

It will be on the Oslo and Salt House tomorrow. The Bierhaus in Cork has it too, not sure when it will be on though. James delivered to a few venues tonight and I'll see if I can get an update in the morning.

Farringtons posted on twitter that they had a keg.

I dropped in earlier and they said that they have one downstairs but have to free up some lines first and it will probably be next week before they have it on tap

Ooh this is exciting.
Any of the other GB bars taking it in town. Eg brew dock for easy stumbling home

Before the clock strikes 6 I shall have done so. This I vow.

By which I mean, anyone fancy The Headline this evening?

Unfortunately, I'm heading west tonight. Scuba diving awaits in Connemara and I doubt I'll get to try it there.

Yes, she really is a beauty. Great balance and does not betray her 9% ABV.

I will be interested in trying a kegged version to see if there is any difference between it and the bottle.

I also picked up a couple of Sam's Session Pale Ale. Another winner from Blacks.
