Update on Tom Crean's: it's not connected to Alltech. The same owners are still running it, just without a production brewery. I've no idea where it's brewed now.

I heard that Dingle owed them a lot of money so I'm wondering if C&C have taken the brand in order to defray the debt.

Just saw on the directory there that Independent are listed as no longer in business, when did they go out? Sad to see them go, was a big fan of the coconut porter.

Edit: Found this link on SoloCheck: https://fora.ie/independent-brewing-com ... 37-jul2018

It has been confirmed that Arthurstown brewery closed it's doors for the last time on May 31st
Kieran Bird has taken up employment as head brewer in a start up in Boulogne.
Since when has popularity been a measure of quality?

It's a shame, from what I understand it was because there were multiple owners, each with their own idea about which way the brewery should go.

Kevin hasn’t been well the last 12 months and a refocus on his various projects was also a factor.
