The new C&C annual report[/url:3jz8s4fx] came out last week. No change in the status of Five Lamps: still 87.5% owned, but one paragraph did catch my eye: [quote:3jz8s4fx]We continue to seed craft offerings such as Dowd’s Lane, Five Lamps and Whitewater and now have dedicated resource to accelerate progress.[/quote:3jz8s4fx]
Dowd's Lane is a wholly-owned brand extension (and tastes terrible IMO) but this is the first I've seen of an association between C&C and Whitewater.
Last summer, in the press stuff about the launch of Whitewater Maggie's Leap, there was mention of the company having received substantial investment, and their social media shows a new brewery under construction and almost completed, so I'm wondering is C&C paying for this, and if so why? There's no mention of ownership in the list of subsidiaries in the annual report material, and from looking at the Companies House records, Whitewater is still 100% owned by the Sloans.
It's all very strange. Anybody know what's happening?
