An account[/url:ndjnunax] of yesterday's south DART pub crawl.

Yes, it arrived on Friday. I only had a taster but it was nice. More warming than bitter, I thought.

Looks like a nice way to spend a day. Would have loved to been able to make it.

It was great fun. I managed to do the 7 pubs, 7 different Irish breweries in each one with the addition of a Flying Dog Citra Imperial pale ale (10%).

I then went off to a BBQ that turned out to be a birthday party. I didn't finish the Heineken that was handed to me because I found the whiskey collection. I was a little hungover on Sunday and I had another epic beer filled day teaching 20 Americans about Irish craft beer <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->

By the way, downstairs in the Black Sheep is awesome and a great private party location too.

I only got through 4 (would have loved to hit The Dark Horse for a Buried At Sea- hope you all got your Loyalty Cards stamped).

Ended up in Ashtons for the missus' birthday bash; Haven't been to the place in years. Has Carrig, Metalman, Dark Arts and Natural Blonde on tap, so I was happy. Woke Sunday morning with a clear head.
