I had some lovely coddle in Seagrass in portobello. Lovely place, great food and very good value. (it's a restaurant, don't remember anything interesting beer-wise)

No corkage fee if you bring your own wine- glad to see that happening in a few places in Dublin.

Now if that was extended to beer....

THAT would be an advance

Do any of you coddle/pork lovers happen to speak Irish? I'm researching a series on native Irish foods and we are looking for people to talk about how much they love pork, and we will be making a traditional coddle - but also if there are any cheese, baking, beer, potato lovers le Gaeilge líofa tar i dteagmháli liom please!! <!-- e --><a href="This email address is being protected from spambots. There's an Italian in Wexford (Nana Rosa, nice place, buddies with Paulo Tolio (sp?))which allows you bring your own wine.
They also allow you visit the bar next door and bring in their beer. I've been in there with my homebrew and no one batted an eyelid <!-- s:wink: --><img src="{SMILIES_PATH}/icon_wink.gif" alt="" title="Wink" /><!-- s:wink: -->
