Hello,

I am new to home brewing. Tried it before about 10 years ago but lost interest. Now I have made a come back and am really interested in home brewing. Its not the alcohol content anymore but the different tastes that are involves in the brewing. Its a bit like wine where you experience the true tastes of the wine with all the floavours and aromas. Is there clubs that meet up regularly to talk about their experiences in home brewing and brings samples for everyone to try. I know Ireland is a small country and this is a long shot, but can we organise this type of thing?

On Friday 16th just past we had a meet up in Sean's house where we tasted each other beers and exchanged in unashamed beer and brewing geekery. It was very educational and enjoyable. I imagine there will be a repeat of this at some point in the future. As far as I'm aware we're the only homebrewers doing it. Keep an eye on the forum for future meetings.
