Slovenian 2015 Hops - New Varieties - Free Samples Available 5 years 4 months ago #1

Slovenian Hop Harvest 2015 hops now online at Get 'er Brewed

During the harvest this year we visited many hop farmers and one of the highlights of these trips was in Slovenia, a truly beautiful country were some real hidden gems of hops have been sourced for microbreweries and home brewers in the UK and Ireland.

Some of these hops are exclusively available from Get ‘er Brewed as we bought the whole harvest of some of these ranges plus new exciting hops from their hop breeding program, we have other countries to add in the coming days but we wanted to start with Slovenia, we have a huge shipment of American hops combined with other European hops but to get started with we are focusing on these as they impressed us the most, we use Styrian Goldings in our Brewery’s Belgian Triple which won Gold at the Beoir All Ireland Craft Beer Competition and we are already big fans of Aurora, the new ranges have been well received in samples from some of Irelands best craft breweries.

We have been very impressed with the new varieties and[b:36217u0u] some samples are available for those of you who wish to review them[/b:36217u0u] please give us an indication of how best to review these hops, ie what quantity you would like to see and how many are interested and we can then see if we can accomodate everyone as best as possible? Multiple bags per club for local distribution or adding to your next order etc etc..? Lets see what works best and we'll try and fulfill it

Micro Breweries can request samples at anytime also

[b:36217u0u]Styrian Aurora 2015 8.8%[/b:36217u0u]
Aurora is aroma hop variety of high quality, high contents of bitter substances, excellent bitterness and aroma. The hop gives a great, mellow tropical fruit flavour and aroma, along with a slight herbal flavour. Great for a summer ale and with enough character of its own to stand up in a single hop beer.

Slovenian 2015 Hops - New Varieties - Free Samples Avail 5 years 4 months ago #2

I'd definitely be interested in purchasing some of the Styrian Cardinal & Wolf, plus the Experimental 105/220 look interesting. I typically do single malt and single hop brews, usually using 100g per brew, so the beer should be a good indication of the hops. I'm happy to pay for the hops, as it will be a couple of months at least before I have used them all, and will provide reviews as I go, but if you want to throw in a couple of extra grams for dry hopping that would be good. Alternatively, I can check who from my brewclub would be willing to review, and you can add some other varieties to my order, as you will likely get more reviews more quickly.

I could also do with getting fresh sack of pale malt, but don't see anything on your website at the moment, but may be looking at it wrong.
